Holstein Development Authority - Homeownership Assistance Grant Program
$500 grant for purchase of primary residence within city limits.
- For a limited time only, until grant money is depleted
- Funds can be used for costs associated with the construction of a new home or purchase of an existing home within Holstein city limits
- Must currently reside outside of 51025 zip code or not own property within the 51025 zip code
- $500 grant paid at closing
- Check may be payable to Lending Institution and Applicant
- Grant Money will be disbursed at time of closing
- Eligible one time only per family
- Home must be occupied by the recipient as principal residence and cannot be used as a rental
- Grant does not have to be paid back provided the home remains owner occupied a minimum of five years
- No lien or mortgage will be filed against the property
- Eligibility subject to approval of Holstein Development Authority
